Hollywood's 'it' couple - Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have been making news ever since the very beginning of their link up. On Monday, the duo made their first official red carpet appearance together, and needless to say, made quite a few heads turn!
The Weeknd aka Abel Tesfaye, later took to his Instagram handle and posted the most adorable picture of the two of them. Amongst the thousands of people that flooded the comments section, Selena Gomez' mom, Mandy Gomez, also shared her thoughts on the picture and from that, we know that mommy Gomez totally approves! Her comment says: "Glowing, smiling, looking health and equal love," she wrote. "Mama is happy XO."
The comment instantly created a stir on social media, as the duo's fans were overjoyed to know the same. Well, the couple really does look together, and now that they're officially 'mom-approved', we're hoping it lasts a lifetime!
On the fashion front, Selena and her lover boy looked like a match made in heaven. Dressed in a white, plunging slip-style gown and sleek short hair, she stood pretty beside The Weeknd, who rocked a monochrome suit and bow tie.
