Kareena Kapoor Khan's post-pregnancy transformation: A break down of her workout in videos

We cannot get enough of Kareena Kapoor Khan's pictures, as she is papped before and after her workout sessions. Her pre and post gym pictures have become an affirmative timeline of her body transformation and weight loss. 

Kareena has always been known for her diet and fitness, whether it was her size-zero figure and her special diet, where she consumed small meals every two hours or her love for yoga and Surya Namaskar. It is said that Kareena does 113 Surya Namaskars every day! (Why 113? Why not 114 or 110? Well, maybe it is a marketing gimmick or maybe that's how much she can manage.)

Kareena has been in the news again for her dramatic transformation post-pregnancy, as she lost all her post-baby weight. But this time it looks like this Begum is giving the good old yoga a miss and going in for some hardcore functional training at the gym.  

Though Kareena is not on social media, she sure does make her presence felt via her sister Karisma Kapoor and bestie Amrita Arora. Recently, Amrita took to Instagram and posted a couple of videos, giving us a glimpse into Kareena Kapoor's workout routine. 

Taking reference from her workout videos, here is a break down of what Kareena does at the gym so you and I too, can get a fab body and transform like the actress did.

1. Steps and squats 

In this video, Kareena and bestie Amrita are seen doing a set of workouts where they are running up the staircase and then doing a set of 5 squats. They do 5 reps of the same.


And this was only the 2nd set of the entire workout !!!!Gutsssssssssssss

2. Step and plank shuffles

In another video, Kareena is seen running up and down the staircase and then doing 5 plank shuffles.


3. Working the lower abdomen

In another video, Kareena sets dumbbells as barricades and sits with her back raised to a 40-degree angle, doing splits in the air with her legs around the dumbbells. This workout is wonderful to burn the core!


4. Lateral dumbbell raise

For an arm workout, Kareena is seen doing lateral dumbbell raises on one side to work that tricep and bicep.


5. Kickboxing

Kareena gets her badass boxing gloves on for some kicks to work the lower body. It's always good to throw in some MMA and kickboxing into your regime to beat boredom at the gym.


6. Battle ropes workouts

Switching things again, Kareena and Amrita do some crossfit exercises that involve battle ropes. This is a high-intensity cardio workout and works the entire body.


7. Kettlebell squats

Working that booty and glutes, Kareena gave simple squats a break and threw kettlebells in to add some more resistance.


8. Leg raise crunches

While normal crunches work wonders for your tummy, if you want a transformation like Kareena's, you got to add on more exercises. Kareena holds dumbbells and does leg raises along with crunches to increase resistance and burn the core.


9. No gym? No problem!

If you do not go to a gym, you can do a workout as simple as running up and down the stairs. It is great cardio and sets your heart racing.
