My friends and I often joke about how we don't need to text as we can write full sentences through the vast variety of Whatsapp emoji's available. From sushi to sad face they have it all, but that is not where is stops. Unicode (essentially the creators of emojis and other characters) keeps us refreshed on what’s being affixed to our emoji library and what is making a curt exit.
Recently, they declared its latest version, 10.0, which will introduce 8,518 characters later this year, of which 56 are emojis. The new emojis will include a Pretty Little Liars inspired emoji, people doing yoga, a Chinese takeaway, and I Love You hand sign, a girl wearing a hijab, a lady breastfeeding, and more.

These Emojis are certainly more universally friendly, especially to beings on the east side of the world.
