Here's the workout that Chrissy Teigen, Reese Witherspoon and Rosie Huntington follow to keep their shape
Want a body like one those actresses and models who have the best-sculpted bodies in the world, this is the routine you should be following.
When we go through the Instagram pages of our favourite actress and gape and wonder how on earth they look so perfect and amazing, clearly they are doing something right. Apparently, the leading ladies like Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Reese Witherspoon and Chrissy Teigen among others, leave everything they do at the gym at home. For their bodies, they mix a little low-weight training with (wait for it) dance! Their goal is to create a physique that is dancer-like.
It is time to give those cross trainers and treadmills a break and think more on the lines of fun thing like resistance bands, trampolines, yoga mats and the works. The idea behind this - use your own body weight, to lose those extra pounds!
When the words dance and workout are heard, zumba is what instantly comes to mind. But this long-term training is nothing like zumba, according to trainers. The results are quicker with you dancing with weights (dumbells) to blaring music alongside trainers who seem to be having an equally good time. The idea is to get the blood pumping and weave subtle workouts like jump training, skipping, lunges and even dabs into the dance routine.
Reese Witherspoon, Chrissy Teigen and Kate Hudson are in love with this routine since it kills two birds with one stone. You get to be flexible and show off your latest moves at the club while also sweating it off!
The routine involves:
- Play some hip-hop tunes and dive straight into showing off your moves
- Get in around 20 squats in a matter of 45 minutes
- Use the 1 kg dumbells in the routine for around 30 minutes
- Try to involve around 200 jumps or skips in the whole 60 minutes session
- If you really want to go for it and sweat it out like there's no tomorrow, 10 push-ups in the entire 60 minutes should give you toned arms and abs in a short span
Obviously, this needs to be followed religiously in order to see results. Getting that smoking figure also involves following a strict and rigorous diet of more nutritious food than carbs, more greens and salads and most importantly, water.
