Happy Birthday MS Dhoni: Times when the Captain Cool gave thug life replies to all his critics
Mahendra Singh Dhoni celebrates his 37th birthday today
Mahendra Singh Dhoni. One word and a gush of emotions come running in. He’s the man who led the Indian Cricket Team in the 2011 World Cup to bring back the trophy after 28 long years. He was the only captain world wide to lead his team on a winning spree to win all the International Cricket tournaments. Dhoni, is hands down one of the best finishers on this planet. His commitment towards his country was always well-known but it was during the 2015 World Cup when he refused to fly back to India after his wife delivered their first baby; the former skipper simply said that he was on National Duty and won everyone over.
M.S. Dhoni has given a lot to Indian Cricket. He did take some harsh steps to shape the squad better and received serious flak for it too but, the strong headed man kept going. His confidence in his teammates was visible when he led a young team in 2007 for the first ever T20 World Cup tournament beating arch rivals Pakistan in the finals. Not just with the bat, this genius is faster than a lightning bolt behind the stumps as well. We too wonder how this powerhouse remains calm in the most tense situations! The cricketer has been the recipient of many prestigious awards and honours including the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan to name a few. The star goes beyond the field and is extremely witty during media and public interactions. He has often faced a lot of burning questions but Mahi has never disappointed us as he always comes up with a cracking response. Listed below are the times when Mahendra Singh Dhoni dropped the mic - Thug Life Style!

When he was asked about losing the 2015 World Cup semis to Australia.
Dhoni said, “Well it's something which doesn't really belong to anyone. We definitely took it from someone. Somebody took it from us. It's as simple as that."
When after a series of losses, MS was blamed saying finisher Dhoni is finished.
MSD, “Well it's something which doesn't really belong to anyone. We definitely took it from someone. Somebody took it from us. It's as simple as that."
When the former Captain was asked which whitewash hurt the most.
He shot back saying, “When you die you don't think which is the better way to die."
Former Captain Cool was also asked what is next in the pipeline for him since he had won all the International tournaments.
" I don't mind repeating everything. " and fans were all sold.
Dhoni was also asked about his transition as a player
In true thug style, he replied, “From Kishore Kumar, we have gone to Sean Paul”

He was also asked a super annoying question about his post-retirement plan and MS tackled the question brilliantly.
He said, “The good thing is that I do collect a lot of stumps but the bad thing is that I don't put a mark as to which match they were from. So, after I retire I’ll watch the videos of all my matches, look closely at the sponsors logos on the stumps and figure out which match a stump belongs to. It will be my post-cricket pass time!
Mahi was also asked how he would like to keep the IPL clean to which he gave a super witty answer.
Dhoni: “We will try the laundry, that’s good, will keep us clean.”
