The procedure of hair transplant allows us to get our hair back and our lives go back to normal but what most of us fail to realize is that everything has a side effect and in a hurry to have our hair back we fail to make notes of how a hair transplant may impact our health.

 

Here are some side effects of hair transplant.

1. Scarring

When going for a hair transplant, you can expect to be left with some scars here and there. Especially if you're going with the strip plantation, you may be more prone to scarring and there's no way to avoid that.

2. Itching

Right after a hair transplant, expect some itching. It's one of the most common side effects of hair transplant. This problem can be managed with ease but if it gets out of hand you may want to consult a doctor.

3. Swelling

Though it's not very common you may end up with some swelling around your forehead and eyes. A hair transplant is not as minor of a procedure as it seems to most people.

4. Pain

Hair transplant comes at the cost of money and pain. You cannot have a completely painless hair transplant. Expect some pain post the procedure though it may be bearable but in case it gets out of hand you can always take painkillers.

5. Cysts

You are at the risk of developing cysts when you get a hair transplant and it's not something that you can ignore or take lightly.

6. Bleeding

It's not very common but hair transplant patients can be prone to bleeding and sometimes it might be difficult to stop this bleeding and it may require immediate medical attention.
