Feeling too old? HERE's how our daily habits are making us age faster

Are you feeling tired and fatigued off lately? Do you blame it on your age and think that this is how old age and adulting feels like? If yes, then you are wrong. You are ageing, but that's a slow and gradual process, but that doesn't mean that if you are 25, you should compare yourself to a 35-year-old. Doing this not only makes you age faster, but it also demotivates you in several ways.

There are some habits that we follow daily that not only makes us feel old but over time it also makes us look old. Check these habits and try and work on them, since no matter how much expensive products your use or creams you apply, if you don't have a good lifestyle or don't get rid of certain habits, nothing can stop the fast ageing process.

Not using sunscreen daily:

Overexposure to sun rays is one of the causes of ageing. UV rays cause free radicals that can damage your collagen, elastin and skin cells. Use a good SPF sunscreen on your skin to prevent or reverse the signs of premature ageing on your skin.

Eating too much sugar:

Constantly binging on food high on sugar and starch, gives rise in blood sugar levels can lead to inflammation in your body and acne breakouts. Excess sugar tends to attach itself to the collagen (the key building block) in your skin, making it more rigid and promoting premature wrinkling.

Sleeping on the side:

Sleeping on your side is comfortable, but it flattens your face into the pillow, causing wrinkles. That’s why it's said that sleeping on your back is one of the best ways to get up well-rested, feeling fresh and youthful.

Thinking that you are too old:

Studies suggest that people who end up feeling older than their actual age are more likely to get hospitalised. Feeling younger not only helps you become more productive and optimistic, but it also helps you work better.

Not eating enough leafy veggies:

When it comes to eating fruits for breakfast, yes they are great and give us all the required nutrition. But some fruits are packed with antioxidants that fight free radicals and damage your cells, which causes ageing. So include spinach, kale and other such dark leafy vegetables in your meal. They help form a healthier skin and can prevent the formation of wrinkles.
