It’s the gas that makes your stomach feel stuffed and bloated. But this problem can easily be avoided by making a few lifestyle changes. 5. Staying hydrated is very important. Water can flush out toxins from your body and it can soothe your stomach and reduce bloating.

6. Avoid high sodium intake. Watch how much sodium you consume. Too much salt can cause bloating. Avoid using a straw to drink any beverage. When you use a straw you also swallow excess air and that can cause bloating.

7. Lactose is difficult to break down. Consuming too many dairy products can be the cause of bloating. Avoid consuming too much milk and cheese.

8. Constantly chewing gum can cause you to intake excess air. This excess trapped air can cause bloating. Reduce the amount of time you chew on a piece of gum.
