Worried that you would crack eggs while boiling them? Here’s a simple trick to avoid that from happening. Add a teaspoon of vinegar to the water. It helps keep egg whites from running out if an egg does crack while cooking. Many people also add half a teaspoon of salt to the water. Not only it helps prevent eggs from cracking but also makes it easier to peel them.
How long should you boil an egg? If it is a soft-boiled egg, it takes four minutes, for medium boiled eggs, cook for five minutes. If you cook it for six to seven minutes, it takes the shape of creamy yet firm boiled eggs.
Do you like firm and hard-boiled eggs? You should boil it straight for nine minutes.
