Love beaches? Here are 4 beaches that you must definitely visit

The sounds water hitting the shores is like music to our ears. Some of us simply love the sound of waves and the smell of salty water and the feeling of wet sand under our feet can be the most soothing and calming thing on earth. A large portion of our country is surrounded by water bodies. Though we may not have the cleanest beaches we do happen to have some of the best and most beautiful beaches. For most of us beaches mean Goa but that’s not the only place in India with the best beaches. It is a famous beach destination and Goa has a crazy amount of tourism mainly due to the beach parties and the number of beachside shacks that it has. Who doesn’t like sipping on a cocktail while sitting on the beachside in beachwear! Indian has some utterly gorgeous beaches that you must visit if you’re a beach person. Before you go on and explore the beaches abroad, you should have a look at the ones we have in our country.

Havelock Island, Andaman &Nicobar Island

Most of us don’t even remember this island that is still very much a part of India. Andaman and Nicobar Island is a cluster of islands and Havelock is one of them. The Radhanagar beach is one of the most beautiful beaches there and it is no less than any international beach. It is Asia’s second longest beach. The Kalapathar beach is also a beautiful beach surrounded by black rocks. It is a treat for your eyes.

Agatti Beach, Lakshadweep

This is another Island that belongs to India and has a beach no less than an exotic international beach. It is one of the cleanest and clearest beaches and you can see the amazing coral reefs from here. This beach is a must-visit.

Butterfly Beach, Goa

This beach is an unexplored part of Goa that most people have no idea about. It’s on the high northern end of Palolem Beach. Just like its name you’ll be able to see a lot of butterflies in this area. You can either reach this beach by boat or you can drive down and then trek for about 1-2 km to get there. If you’re goa, you need to definitely visit this beach.

Marari, Kerala

This beach is very close to Alleppey and the backwaters. It’s a few kilometers away in a secluded spot that still remains unexplored. It is not at all commercial but it’s a very serene place to relax and unwind for a day.
