Beer is more than just an alcoholic drink. It is an emotion. A feeling to those who love it. It is not just about flavours but also about the people devoted to making it and all the various collections, traditions, etc. about it. Beer is one of the biggest passions so much so that there are a number of festivals dedicated to it as well! Want to sound like a beer expert? Here are a few basics you need to know about the alcoholic drink to sound like a pro!

There is a proper way to pour the beer.

If you pour the beer into a tilted glass where a smaller head is formed and more carbon dioxide remains dissolved, ensure it is more fizzy.

If you hold the glass upright and pour beer into it, more gas will be released and a larger head will form, making it less fizzy.

The best way to judge a beer is - sniff, stare, sip, swish, savour and then swallow.

In order to judge a beer, you have to know a beer.
