Whenever we are flying internationally, we often have to make at least one pitstop is between. A long layover between two long flights can be very tiring. It is no wonder that so many of us hate layovers. Airports leave us deeply tired and exhausted, and waiting for the next flight to take off often fills us with a sense of unease. It might have crossed your mind to get out of the airport and see the city but more often than not, it’s not possible. However, there are some destinations around the world where you are allowed to get out of the airport for a short while, and enjoy the city’s sights and sounds, before you board a flight again.
