How many of us are still waiting for our Hogwarts letters? Ever held a knife and imagined yourself to be holding a sword like Jon Snow? So many of us walk through our rather mundane lives every day, wondering how it would have been if we were in our favourite book, TV show or movie. Well, we can't make all dreams come true but these places across India might just give us a few hours away from reality, in our favourite fictional worlds.

Harry Potter

Accio Potterheads! Cafe Platform 9 and 3/4ths in Delhi is bringing you Hogwarts in the capital. It has artwork and stills from the movie on the walls. They are also reasonably priced and the food is all Indian.

Another such eatery is the Two Friends Cauldron in Bangalore. They have incorporated as many features of the HP universe as they could, right from the Divination classroom's staircase to butterbeer and Mrs. Weasly's Pizzas on the menu.

Mumbai might not be very lucky in this aspect although Henpecked in Fort does offer a chocolate and caramel dessert in the shape of the golden snitch.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

For those of you who don't share their food, there are a lot of Friends based eateries around the country in major cities. Central Perk in Chandigarh is one such popular cafe where dialogues from the sitcom are written on the walls.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S Cafe in Kolkata has icons like the statue of Pat and Monica's purple door. Central Perk 7 in Pune comes very close to the decor of the actual Central Perk

F.R.I.E.N.D.Z Cafe in Delhi boasts of the famed orange couch. Unleash the Joey in you!

Game of Thrones

Winterfell Cafe in Srinagar, situated in the midst of the snow during winter indeed gives one a Northman feeling. The Westeros in Delhi has curated the GoT vibe very well within their ambience and also have some amazing dishes. Game of Taste in Jaipur is a relatively new GoT themed restaurant with a very attractive interior. All men must eat!

Archie and friends/ Riverdale

If you've watched Riverdale or been an ardent reader of the Archie comics, you've probably drooled over Pop's burgers at some point in time. Pop Tate's In Mumbai offers a very delightful menu of you American fast food which will make you realize Jughead's love for Pop's food. Jugheads is another restaurant in Mumbai which has the blue and red Pop Tate's theme and even dishes named after the characters.

Lord of the Rings

A very famous restaurant which has converted itself into a franchise is the Lord of the Drinks. They have a brilliant bar and fantastic interiors, which will take you to the Lord of the Rings universe with just one step into the place.

Pirates of the Carribean

To get an idea of what this place looks like, think of the Black Pearl ship, which you would be very well able to visualize if you're a fan. Even the chairs have the backs in shape of the human rib cage. The food? It is said to be among the finest across Bangalore.

Bollywood

Last but not the least, how could one forget our very own Bollywood? This world has earned itself a number of patrons, who've given a tribute in the form of restaurants. Mumbai Matinee in Delhi has the perfect red box office ambience while IIFA Buzz in Gurgaon seems like an admirer of the IIFA Awards.

Eatmor 70 mm of Hyderabad goes all the way to put up performances for the customers along with the lip-smacking food. From Kolkata comes Sholay, which has posters of Basanti and Veeru gracing the walls while Bangalore's Bombay Post is a fan of the golden era of Bollywood, which is the 80's.

Garam Dharam in Delhi and Bhaijaanz in Mumbai, meanwhile, are devoted to Dharmendra and Salman Khan respectively.

Food provides the best escape and when it is combined with our love for our favourite fictional worlds, it makes for a memorable dining experience.
