7 Easy ways to motivate yourself to workout in the morning
Having difficulty waking up in the morning to workout? Check out these tips that will help you wake up in the morning
They say mornings are the best time to workout- you are fresh and well rested, you are the empty stomach, your metabolism is at peak, your hormones are active and can get it off your to-do list first thing in the morning so you have rest of the day to your disposal. But I am not going to lie, despite knowing all these you need MAJOR Motivation to wake up in the morning and give up that extra one hour of sleep. Well, here are some fun ways in which you can push yourself to workout in the mornings:
1. Set multiple alarms
As much as we all would want our sleep cycle to be such that we wake up naturally feeling fresh at 6 AM, it is not going to happen! We all need alarms in our lives.
Simply set multiple alarms so they keep ringing and you are forced to wake up on time.
2. Keep the alarm away
Another alarm hack is to keep the alarm away. Keep it across the room to you just can't snooze it and have to physically wake up to hit the snooze button which will wake you up even more.

3. Get to bed early and flip the switch
Needless to say, if you try to get to bed by 10-10.30, then your 6 AM alarm will not feel as brutal. Blinding light as soon as the alarm goes off always makes me realize I don't want to go back to sleep.

4. Make it a habit
Life is about habits, both big and small. So to get to the bigger goal of working out in the morning, you need consistency and stick to small habits along the way.
Here is a little trick- when you wake up in the morning ask your self what you will gain out of this morning workout, the answer will serve as motivation to hit the gym.

5. Prep your clothes—and a playlist
The more you like your outfit, the more excited you will be to put it on! Also, you must always have an excellent playlist. It is often said that music has the power to dictate the way and the intensity in which you move.

6. Stash Mints in Your Nightstand
Grabbing a mint the second your alarm goes off. The sugar in the mint will excite and your brain and the mint itself will liven up your tongue’s taste buds and nerve endings.
You can completely fool your body into thinking the food is coming. You’ll get rid of morning breath and wake up your mind and body for a sweat session.
7. Turn to coffee
Drinking a black coffee first thing is a great way to start your healthy routine. Instead of taking any unnatural pre-workout supplements filled with ingredients that no one can pronounce, coffee is a simple, healthful option.
Make it the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight; in the morning, drop in a few ice cubes. Not only will coffee boost your energy, it also speeds up metabolism and helps aid fat loss. This is a cold brew that is sure to wake you up!
