Isn’t it annoying when you are at a party and all you have to sip on is Diet Coke? Let’s be real, being sober at a party sucks. Especially if you are the one throwing the party.

So, if in this holiday season house parties are on your list or you have friends coming over unannounced, these mocktails will definitely make you the best host.

Pineapple Orange Mocktail

Let’s start with the basics! All you need is half a glass of pineapple juice and orange juice. Mix it with a teaspoon of honey and cilantro leaves and Voila you are good to go! This is a perfect refresher if you have kids coming over.

Pinacolada

What is better than good old Pinacolada? You will need 2 ripe bananas, 1 cup of fresh pineapple diced, 1 cup of pineapple juice, 1/2 cup of coconut milk, 3 cups of ice cubes and pineapple wedges for garnishing. In a blender, blend all of these ingredients, pour in a glass and serve immediately.

Lychee Spritzer

Fill a shaker with lots of ice, pour two teaspoons of lemon juice, 3 teaspoons of simple syrup and 3 teaspoons of fresh lychee syrup. Shake it and pour it into a glass, top it with ice and pour a considerate amount of sprite. There you go! You have a delicious mocktail ready.

Virgin Mojito

This has to be our favourite. Simple yet flavourful Virgin mojito is easy to make with ingredients lying around in your kitchen. In a tall glass, add crushed mint leaves, sugar and lemon wedges. Use a spoon and release the juice from the lemons. Add loads of crushed ice and fill the glass with sprite. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices. And you have a refreshing mocktail up for grabs.

Seasonal Cooler

In a shaker with ice, shake a half glass of grapefruit juice, 2 teaspoons of lime juice, 50 ml of simple syrup, and a few mint leaves. Strain into a glass with crushed ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves. You can use any of your favourite canned juice or seasonal fruit juices to make a custom mocktail that you love.
