Do you ever feel like your life is stagnating and you are not moving forward? Like your life had more meaning before this? It is probably because you have stopped learning. To keep your brain rolling, it should always receive information and keep updating the pre-existing information. Learning helps to widen horizons and to make life easier.

But in our busy schedules, we don't get the time to learn. We are caught up all day and by the end of it, we are too tired to make time for anything else. But its not that difficult to spare 10 minutes to learn life skills that will help us for the rest of our lives.

Make your watch a compass

In the unlikely event of a natural calamity or god forbid - the apocalypse, you are going to need a compass. Your phone battery is bound to die out eventually. Obviously, this does not work with digital watches, so you will need an analog watch for this trick.

Origami

Making things from paper is easy, therapeutic and can make your surroundings more beautiful. Start with making origami swans and move on to more difficult things like dinosaurs and even eagles!

Unsend emails

Sometimes, despite reading emails multiple times, you can only spot mistakes after sending them. To avoid this embarrassment, multiple email portals have come up with the feature of unsending sent emails. You have learnt how to delete those risky whatsapp messages, its time to move on to unsending emails now.

Change a tyre

You never know when you might need to change a tyre. It is not the easiest thing to learn and cannot be perfected in one go, but it takes around 10 minutes to learn to successfully change a tyre so you are not stranded at your next road trip or even when you are on the way to the supermarket.

Computer shortcuts

In a world that doesn't stop to even take a breath, why do you want to waste time right clicking when shortcuts can do your work faster? This is especially helpful for those who use Photoshop or other video editing software all day.

Deep breathing

It might seen ridiculous, but there is a right and wrong way to breathe in order to remain calm. This form of breathing is sure to calm your anxious mind and focus your thoughts.

Folding clothes

It is important to keep the insides of your wardrobe clean. You don't want clothes spilling out every time you open the doors. The art of folding clothes also comes in handy when you need to pack for a vacation. Messy clothes in a suitcase take up so much more space and ruin the perfect ceases and ironing. It is also always nice to see clothes orgnaised as that also helps in calming the mind.

Palmistry or handwriting analysis

Its always nice to know what you can expect form the future, or what your handwriting says about you and your personality type. There are some credible sources on the internet that will teach you how read palm lines or analyse your handwriting as well as others in less than ten minutes.
