Do you have a shopping disorder? Find out here
Shopping is a drug and you might be addicted...
Personally, I suffer from a major shopping disorder and as much as I try to resist or fight it, let's face it, it ain't happening. Well, at least not anytime soon. In all seriousness, shopping is a major addiction for some and the illness is real.
Let's get this straight - If you love going to the mall occasionally, to picking up cute outfits, that's normal. If you're going to the mall every day and end up purchasing stuff you barely even need, then that's a problem.
CBD - Compulsive buying disorder is a disease that is characterised by an obsession with shopping and buying behaviour that causes adverse consequences. Prevailing in whopping numbers of people across the globe is this issue that makes one develop the irresistible desire to shop on impulse.

Do you identify with any of this? Does retail therapy make you unbelievably happy? Well, these points will help you figure if you're indeed, what they call a true shopaholic...
1. You have every shopping app on your phone and are always scrolling, adding to cart and making unnecessary purchases online.
2. When you're happy, you go to the mall. When you're sad, you go to the mall.
3. Your wallet has endless receipts, vouchers and discount coupons.

4. You sulk and go into depression when you are unable to purchase something.
5. You're furious when your credit or debit card gets declined.
6. Your bank statement is literally just a summary of all your retail therapy.
7. You get into a foul, mean mood when someone doesn't let you go shopping.

8. You'd cancel other plans in a heartbeat if it meant you could go shopping.
9. Your family and friends hate shopping with you and rarely agree to accompany you to the mall.
10. Your mail inbox is flooded with mail from stores that update you on all the latest collections.

If you can relate to 5 or more of the above symptoms, chances are you're as addicted to shopping as I am. Anyhow, I reach out to you today and would like to tell you - you're not alone. We may not be great at other things, but we've got black belts in shopping and that's got to count for something, right?
Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some buying to do....
Until next time - Find what you love and let it kill you x
