The actress is known for her commendable acting skills and makes sure to woo us with her charm and screen presence every time she comes on the screen. Apart from being a great actress that she is, Deepika is also known for her fitness. The lovely actress who has a great figure works hard to maintain it. She loves food and being a south Indian, she tries to follow a healthy and mindful diet daily. In fact, in an interview, she accepted that she doesn’t have just one sweet tooth all her teeth are sweet.

Deepika Padukone's diet:
Deepika Padukone has a good metabolism and instead of having 3 meals a day, she makes sure to have 6 small meals a day. She includes food items rich in fibre, proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, complex carbs and vitamins in her diet. If she skips a meal due to shoot or some other work, she makes sure to hydrate herself by drinking coconut water, fresh fruit juices, buttermilk and water.

She starts her morning by having a glass of warm water with honey and lime. When it comes to breakfast, she has 2 egg whites, 2 idlis or 2 plain dosa, upma or quinoa. For her pre-lunch snacks, she has a bowl of fruit. When it comes to lunch, she has grilled fish or chicken. Deepika prefers having her dinner early and has either Roti and veggies or salad. Being a sweet tooth, she loves to have one piece of dark chocolate.

In her shoots too, Deepika prefers eating ghar ka khana. One can see her eating regular homemade meals, including chapattis, vegetables, dal, salad and raita.
Deepika Padukone's exercise:
When it comes to fitness, Deepika swears by yoga and doesn't miss out on her yoga session even for a day. She loves badminton and plays that too. Apart from this, Deepika also does a bit of Pilates and loves the effect it has had on her body in the past few years. She loves to do freehand exercises, dancing and stretching.

When it comes to working out in the gym, Deepika is not a gym woman. She only goes to the gym when she wants to change her workout routine. She also likes to hit the gym when she is travelling and/or has a busy day.
