Going on a first date? Check out the style mistakes that you should avoid
Preparing for your big date night? Here are some fashion and style tips that you should avoid for your first date. Avoiding this will not only make you look beautiful, but will also boost your confidence.
With the first date comes the other first things. The first date means that it's the first time you'll be meeting someone in person, or you'll finally get to spend some time with that person. All of us are pretty excited when it comes to the first date, and we want to look at nothing but the best. We tend to buy a new outfit, especially for that date. Be it applying the right shade of nail paint or wearing the right inches of heels, we expect everything to be perfect for our first date.
At times due to excitement, we tend to go a bit overboard with our outfits and make some silly mistakes that we shouldn't have even considered in the first place. So ladies, if you are planning to meet your special one finally then here are some style tips that you should avoid on the first date.
Don't stress out too much about the outfit:

We tend to think that the other person is only interested to see how well we dress up. But that's certainly not the case. Don't stress too much about the first date outfit. Wear something that defines you and something that makes you comfortable. Add your style instead of pretending to be someone you are not. Research also suggests that what you wear on the next few dates is more important. How you dress after a first date can tell someone how you feel about them more accurately.
Overambitious fashion choices:

We all pick up the most glamorous outfit we have in our wardrobe. I am not suggesting that wear your basic tee and jeans but when in doubt, less is more. Try to dress up neutrally, especially on a first date. If you are confused and don't want to wear other than your glamorous outfit, then wear a black dress, or pair a black skirt with a nice blouse. Black always works, it's chic, stylish and elegant.
Say no to too much makeup:

Applying enough makeup to amp your eyes and lips is enough, you don't need to do a full face makeup for your first date. Too much makeup usually distracts others; hence, you need to find the balance. Don't overdo it, but don't under-do it either. You want to look like you have put in a good effort for your date from head to toe.
Wear the right size:

At times, to show our curves, we try to wear a figure-hugging dress, which is flattering but uncomfortable at the same time. So, instead of putting yourself through the misery of wearing an outfit that you know is too tight, wear something that you feel good in.Not only w ill you look better, but you'll also feel more at ease.
Having your hair slicked back:

Let your beautiful tresses be free. Don't take too much effort to master the perfect hairstyle. Leave your hair open or tie a high ponytail to define your jaws. Go easy on your hair. Don't keep it too casual, but don't make a hairstyle that you would make for some event.
Avoid these things and have a great first date!
