Fashion Faceoff: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Kareena Kapoor Khan; who wore the embroidered gown better ?

All the celebrities want to make a fashion statement everytime they step out. As much as we discover new trends and styles and as celebrities try to portray something new in each ensemble, they sometimes end up wearing similar outfits. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked stunning as she attended a wedding reception but we soon realised that her outfit was similar to that of Kareena Kapoor Khan's cover for the Hello magazine, hence giving us a fashion faceoff. 

Recently Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended a wedding reception in the city and looked like a dream in a multi-coloured ethnic gown by Rohit Bal. The stunning full-sleeves white gown had a slit with beautiful peacock embroidery all over. She kept the jewellery minimal with just a simple necklace for her heavily embroidered dress and kept her middle parted sleek hair open. Red lipstick and dewy makeup completed her look. Aishwarya carried the outfit with flair and upped the glam quotient of the evening. However after we recollected Kareena Kapoor Khan’s shoot for the Hello magazine we realized that their outfits showcased a lot of similarities.

The sisters Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karishma Kapoor posed for the cover of Hello magazine for the October 2016 issue. Begum Khan looked royal as she posed in one of India’s mega designer Manish Malhotra’s outfit. The outfit was pastel blue in colour with full sleeves and an embellished v-neck. Smokey eyes, brows on point and blush lip rounded off her makeup. A neat ponytail and drop earrings added the perfect glam quotient.

While we love both the looks we have a soft corner for Aishwarya’s look as she looked eternal. Though both the looks are 2 years apart the embellished v-neck and the whole look of the outfits are really similar.
