Meghan Markle just upgraded her ring for more diamonds?

Meghan Markle who gave birth to son Archie a few weeks ago made her second appearance post that at the Trooping the Colour. What stole everyone’s attention was her new eternity ring which was gifted to her by Prince Harry. Well, the ring is given on big occasions like the birth of a child, it was definitely a very sweet gesture for the new dad. Now, what the world failed to notice was an entirely new engagement ring that Meghan was spotted wearing. This was not the first time that Meghan wore the new ring, apparently, she was also seen wearing the ring when they debuted son Archie to the world.

Meghan appears to have upgraded her engagement ring, exchanging the simple gold band for a micro-pavé one. While everyone was focused on watching the cute little munchkin, no one noticed an entirely new band on Meghan’s fingers. If seen closely, it is far from an upgrade and of course, this could be an entirely new ring made to look like the old ring.

But, why would Meghan do that?

It's common for fingers to swell during pregnancy, and perhaps Meghan was unable to wear her original ring as a result. Or maybe she just wanted a fancier band and more diamonds! Who wouldn’t want that?

Either way, we do remember Harry mentioning Meghan's love of her gold band during their engagement interview, saying "The ring is obviously yellow gold because that's her favourite and the main stone itself I sourced from Botswana and the little diamonds either side are from my mother's jewellery collection, to make sure that she's with us on this crazy journey together."

With that being said, we’d really like to know the original reason for the ring swap!
