Karan Johar wears HEELS with a suit changing the future of menswear; gives lessons on gender fluid dressing

Last evening was a night of glitz and glamour with the who's-who of the Bollywood industry making their way to the Vogue Women of the Year 2019 event held in Mumbai. Among those present, Director/producer Karan Johar too made an appearance to applaud the women who have contributed and made a difference. But what took everybody aback, is his choice of clothing. 

Karan is known for his experimental and bold fashion choices. He is a lover of luxury fashion houses and is one of the most fashionable and always well-dressed and put-together men in the Bollywood industry. But taking things a notch higher, Karan broke gender norms, blurring the lines between menswear and womenswear with his choice of attire. 

Decked up in a suit by Issey Miyake, the outfit bore a black base with yellow stripes on it. Beneath the blazer, he sported a basic black tee. His choice of accessories included his outfit with black rimmed glasses and black leather high-heeled boots by Rick Owens!

He rolled up the sleeves of his blazer and further styled the look with multiple black rings, making for a funky yet edgy look.

Apart from sporting designer outfits and bags, Karan is really making a statement in this outfit by experimenting with heels and we must say we are truly digging this look! We don't think anybody would have been able to carry it off while looking dapper and poised at the same time, the way that Karan did!
