The year 2017 definitely gave us some major fashion trends, so much so that our celebrities just cannot contain their excitement and end up wearing the same outfit from the same powerhouse fashion label.
Satin sarees have taken the fashion circuit by storm. It’s a must have for the wedding season. A rich satin saree with a decorated golden blouse is a classic combination and one that’ll never fade out. Pick one in a champagne colour or a rose gold and make heads turn with that one diva outfit of yours.
We recently spotted Katrina Kaif, Mira Rajput and Shilpa Shetty wear the same saree in different colours on different occasions, however the way they draped the pallu of the saree remained constant. Let's check out how they pulled off this gorgeous saree and who wore it better.
Katrina Kaif at IIFA 2017
Katrina Kaif donned a bold red ruffle satin saree from Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The satin ruffle detail put together with the gold shimmery fringe blouse with that red lip colour made for a very poor combination. Open beach wavy hair on one side with gold undertone makeup just made it all the more disastrous. It is an extremely loud look to a point that it sort of blinds you.
Mira Rajput at a Wedding
The beautiful Mira Rajput donned a deep midnight blue satin Manish Malhotra saree for a wedding. Mira, who likes all things minimal, went down that road again, by opting for thin eyeliner, kohled eyes, nude lips and dewy makeup. The highlight of her outfit was the off-white sequins cuff blouse with pearl embellishments on it. She went simple with accessories as she only wore dangler kundan earrings.
Shilpa Shetty at a Diwali bash
The stunning Shilpa Shetty never goes wrong with her outfit picks. She donned an oxblood red satin saree from Manish Malhotra at a Diwali bash. She teamed her saree with a silver fringe sleeveless sequins blouse. The draping of the pallu of her saree remained the same. Minimal makeup with deep red lips, diamond dangler earrings, a huge silver clutch and open beach wavy hair finished off her look.
