The latest doing the rounds is something that has thrown us off the chair; it is engagement ring piercings. A permanent and super painful way of showing commitment towards your better half.
Gone are the days when girls would obsess over choosing the perfect ring, the current rage is of choosing the perfect piercing with diamonds popping on your ring finger. While we are all for creative and unconventional trends and styles, going through so much of extra pain instead of just putting on a chic band is too much to digest. This kind of piercing is called ‘dermal piercing’. Couples are going to great lengths with this trend by getting matching engagement piercings on their ring finger.
"I think dermal engagement rings are a fun, modern way to express your love. Rings you can take off or lose. Dermals, like diamonds, are forever,” said, Martine, a piercer based out of Toronto.
