As much as we love to try different prints, textures and styles in our outfit trying to match up with the trends, we love to accessories our pretty outfits with jewellery. Jewellery plays an important part in your outfit and can make or break your look. While 2017 was about 'less is more', 2018 is about going bold and this time 'more is less' so we have tried to find a balance here incorporating both these year's styles. You can add drama to your subtle outfit with just a few aesthetic pieces of jewellery. Trends come and go and if you are the one to follow what’s ‘in vogue’ then read on.

One man show

One man show in jewellery terms basically means that reduce all your jewllery only to one piece an let that one piece steal the entire show. Be it the traditional bindi or a heavy necklace or even a classic earcuff, let the one piece be it for your jewllery. This helps distributing attention to your outfit and that one jewellery piece equally. Take cues from our diva as they showcase this trend.

Contrast Jewellery

Gone are the days when you wore jewllery matching to your outfits. As trends like colour blocking and putting together various colours came up the contrast jewellery trend came in too. Pick up the exact opposite colour of the outfit you are wearing and it will look quirky yet classy. Take inspiration from Sonakshi Sinha as she sported green jhumkaas on an off-white saree.

Layer those chokers

Chokers was one of the biggest trend of 2017. We don't want to follow the same trend in 2018 but we have tons of chockers, so to reuse them layer them up with another short necklace or a long one. You can wear 2-3 layerings but then make sure your outfit is subtle. The layering part will surely jazz up your outfit.

The hoops hype

Hoops, big or small always add the perfect jazz needed for your outfit. Hoops also add that retro look to your outfit and as we all know that the 90s are in trend again. So all the bold birdies go for the big hoops and look classic or if you are a bit hesistant go for the medium sized or the smaller ones though our heart will always be for the big hoops.

No jewellery

For all the minimalist beautties out there go for the no jewllery look as it will make a statement with no jewllery at all. Sometimes celebs also opt for plain black stud earrings their only jewellery. Minimal jewellery will grab attention to your outfit and is great for days you don't feel like wearing jewellry or can't find the appropriate jewellery.

 Juxtapose of colours

Incorporate the different shades of various colours in your jewellery by wearing multi-colured jewllery. It is a bit tricky but try to create balance with all those colours you are trying to incorporate by making a balance between the tones.

Let those gemstones shine

Opt for gemstones and let them shine perfectly with your saree or with your elegant dress. Gemstones makes your whole outfit richer and more royal. Be sure of the quantity you are incorportaing as too much is not too appropriate here.

Go bold this season with a heavy neckpiece or the 'no jewellery' look. We love all these trends and can't wait to try them on. What do you guys think of these looks? Which trend are you going to follow this season? Comment below and let us know.
