Pinkvilla Fashion Police: Our verdict on what the B-town beauties adorned at Diwali parties!

Diwali is a time when everyone wants to dress up and put their best foot forward! This is the time when you can unabashedly go all out and dazzle. Here is a the Pinkvilla fashion verdict on who was a patakaand a phuski bomb at the Diwali parties!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan 

Aishwarya went the white route as she sported 2 different white outfits on different occasions - for the puja and the Diwali party. She was seen wearing a white suit by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla with golden gotta patti work on it.

For the second look, she wore an off-white, cream lehenga, with full embellishments on it. The lengha was worn with sequins and gotta patti work on it. 

Footwear and Accessories:

She paired the first look with a layered diamond necklace, golden kadas with Kundan embellished on them. She rounded off her look with silver Kolhapuri's and a tiny bindi.

She took the same jewelry of the first outfit and wore it with the cream lengha.

Hair and Makeup: 

Aishwarya wore brown eye shadow with a winged eyeliner, coral lips, and a well-contoured face. While her makeup was the same for the second look she wore a brighter crimson pout. She left her hair straight and center parted. 

Pinkvilla Verdict: PATAKA!

We think the beauty carried white for the festive season very well!

Sonam Kapoor 

Sonam Looked stunning as she wore a white lehnga for her Diwali bash! What we loved about the look is that she wore her dupatta as a cape. 

Footwear and Accessories:

She wore the look with a statement necklace, kada, earrings, and white potli to got with it 

Hair and makeup:

She wore a sharp winged liner along with a sleek middle-parted bun.

There is a new way to wear your dupatta, it is over your shoulder! 

Katrina Kaif 

What She Wore: 

Katrina Kaif gave us major Deja Vu in this Diwali look of her, though the sari looked stunning with golden embellishments.

Footwear and Accessories:

She wore golden thong sandals, with a Kundan and pearl necklace.

Hair and makeup: 

She wore her hair in the 'same old way' - with same minimal makeup and blow-dried hair. 

Pinkvilla Verdict: PHUSKI BOMB!

We are just so bored with the old look that Katrina has been sporting, we need to see something new! Maybe her MAMI look would have been a better choice here. 

Bipasha Basu: 

What She Wore: 

Bipasha went the black route in a golden and black Sabyasachi sari. What we loved about the sari is the golden border and tassels on it.

Footwear and Accessories:

She paired the look with a pair of open-toe heels, a golden clutch, and her wedding ring, keeping the accessories minimal. 

Hair and makeup: 

For hair and makeup, she wore her hair half up and half down, a red lip and fluttery lashes.

In a pool of pastel colors, Bipasha's sari sure did stand out!

Jacqueline Fernandez

What She Wore: 

Jacqueline wore a pink silk sari with a blue high neck blouse. The sari had bird prints and golden borders on it! 

Footwear and Accessories:

She wore the sari with golden peep toes. She wore a layered necklace, with gold rings and a golden clutch. 

Hair and makeup: 

She wore luscious lashes with a high ponytail which looked rather messy! 

Pinkvilla Verdict: PHUSKI BOMB!

Jacqueline is one actress whose style is always on fleek, yet this sari look was quite disappointing and the high pony just looked messy and shabby! 

Athiya Shetty

What She Wore: 

Another white look spotted on Diwali was adorned by Athiya Shetty! The more we look at this Rahul Mishra lengha, the more we love it. The quilted hem and the embellishments on the lengha are dead drop gorgeous. The dupatta also had beautiful floral motifs on it! 

Footwear and Accessories:

She wore the look with some golden and pearl earrings, a ring and golden clutch completed the accessories. 

Hair and Makeup: 

For hair and makeup, she wore golden eyeshadow smoked out with winged eyeliner. We have only one complaint - she is wearing the same old hair!

We just cannot seem to get over how stunning the lehenga is! Take a closer look and you will love it too. 

Malaika Arora

What She Wore: 

Another white look spotted at Diwali parties was this white Tarun Tahiliani Anarkali worn by Malaika Arora. 

Footwear and Accessories:

What took the whole look up a notch higher was the accessories. She wore a layered pearl necklace with a Kundan pendant and dangling earrings. She carried a potli with her outfit. 

Hair and makeup: 

She wore her hair in a low bun with gajra, deep burgundy lips and a fresh face of makeup. 

Pinkvilla Verdict: PATAKA! 

Malika always slays desi look and she looked elegant as ever in this outfit. 

Shraddha Kapoor

Shradha was spotted celebrating Diwali in a light pink attire! 

Footwear and Accessories:

She paired the look with diamond earrings and a glittery clutch. 

Hair and makeup: 

She wore her hair in a sleek straight part, a silver eyeshadow with a tiny bindi to go with it. 

Pinkvilla Verdict: PHUSKI BOMB! 

Though she looked pretty, the entire look was too basic and Shradha could have experimented more! 

Sonakshi Sinha 

What She Wore: 

Now here is one of our favorite looks, Sonakshi Sinha was one of the many celebs who attended Aamir Khan's Diwali bash.She was photographed wearing a floral printed lehenga with a cut out halter neck top and a sheer dupatta. 

Footwear and Accessories:

Sonakshi adorned jewellery by Maheep Kapoor and carried a pretty silver clutch. 

Hair and makeup:

A pink lip and flowers in her hair rounded her look out.

We love how refreshing the look is! The blouse and her hairdo with those earrings just perfectly complimented the look. 

Aditi Rao Hydari

What She Wore: 

Aditi bought out the festivities as she was shining in a bright red Ra Mango lengha. She wrapped the dupatta around her neck like a scarf. 

Footwear and Accessories:

She wore a pair of green and golden Amrapali earrings and carried a golden clutch, slung over her shoulder. 

Hair and Makeup: 

She wore her hair in a low ponytail and wore nude shades of makeup, keeping it minimal almost natural. 

Pinkvilla Verdict: PHUSKI BOMB!

We love the color she picked, however, the lehenga did not quite cut it for us and the hair and makeup were quite the Debbie downer. 

Tapsee Pannu

What She Wore: 

Tapsee Pannu, attended the Bachchans Diwali bash, wearing a Priyal Prakash lehenga. Her off shoulder black top was paired with a striped two patterned lehenga and a sheer dupatta. 

Footwear and Accessories: 

She paired the look with gorgeous baubles from Tarun Tahiliani. 

Hair and makeup: 

A sharp liner and braided bun finished her festive look out.

We love the off shoulder blouse and the hairdo is super pretty!
