'Masaba's Marks'
Zoa Morani seems to be the latest entrant in the house of masaba, as she donned a trademark Masaba sari at the premeire of AKK. The sari reminded me of the various trendy,bold sarees that the other celebs have chosen from the masaba collection.
Good freind Sonam and mother Neena have been ardent supporters of this emerging brilliant designer. Patch works,bold prints,color pops marks the these Masaba sarees. What do you think of them?
Masaba sure has a great fan and patron, in Mandira Bedi; endorsing her creations. Look at her working these beautiful sarees like none other. I am generally not a big fan of halter neck blouses, but I feel Mandira looks great in them, probably owing to her broad strong shoulders. I love her look in the white-black-yellow saree!
I love the way she plays around with colours,textures and prints. Apart from the prints,polka dots and geometric designs used on the aforesaid sarees,Masaba also uses a dose of these unique marks of palms and feet, alphabet motifs, motifs inspired by mythology etc liberally in her creations. Do you like ?
What do you think of the melange of Masaba? These sarees are not exquisitely feminine, and they tend to bring on the aura of a 'woman of substance'! Hence I suspect, not all would look great in these sarees. Of the ones on whom we have seen a Masaba saree, I feel Mandira does justice to them. Who else do you think can carry one with elan? I would say Tabu and Kangana should try one of these. Will Vidya Balan look good too?
