But using a straightening iron every day may not be a good solution for your hair. Styling your hair using styling tools too often can leave your hair with irreversible damage that cannot be undone. Now, you must be thinking what other way is there to straighten our hair without using any heat or styling tools! But there are some natural remedies that can help straighten your hair. Though they may not be as effective, they do save your hair from the drastic damage that these styling tools may do.

 

Here are some home remedies to straighten your hair without any tools or chemical-based products.

1. Multani Mitti

Multani mitti is also known as fuller's earth and has clay-like properties. It has multiple beauty benefits. It can work wonders for your skin as well as your hair. Make a smooth paste with water and multani mitti powder and apply it on your hair. Let it dry. once it dries it will tighten your hair and straighten them. You do not need to shampoo your hair post this. Simply wash it with warm water and let it dry.

2. Milk & Eggs

Mix some milk with eggs and whip it till it becomes smooth. Now, apply this mixture all over your hair and let it dry. Once it dries tie your hair up in a bun and let it be like that for up to one hour. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo to get rid of the hair mask and the smell of eggs from your hair. Eggs can dry up and straighten your hair while milk ensures that your hair remains moisturized throughout the process.

3. Coconut Milk and Lemon

Mix some coconut milk with a spoonful of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix it well and keep it in the fridge overnight. In the morning, apply it on your hair properly and cover each and every strand. Let it dry for up to 45 minutes and then rinse your hair with a mild shampoo. Lemon juice can help straighten your hair while the coconut milk keeps it nourished and moisturized.

4. Aloe Vera Gel and Olive Oil

Scrape some fresh aloe vera gel from the plant and mix it with a good quality olive oil. Mix it till it becomes smooth and even and apply it all over your hair and scalp. Let this mixture dry on your hair for up to one hour and wash it with a mild shampoo for straight hair. Aloe vera is also known to get rid of the frizziness and straighten and smoothen your hair if applied regularly.
