Meer-E-Kaarwan: Farhan Akhtar croons a love ballad in jail in Lucknow Central's new song
Lucknow Central's new song Meer-E-Kaarwan is out.
The second song from Lucknow Central is out. Titled Meer-E-Kaarwan, the song is picturised on all the cast of the film.
In the music video, Farhan Akhtar is seen singing and playing the guitar while in jail. He becomes nostalgic and take a trip down the memory lane when he was free and cherishing his dream of becoming a successful Bhojpuri singer.
Apart from Farhan, other jail inmates including Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Inaam Ul Haq and Rajesh Sharma also think about the times when they were not in jail.
Moreover, the song also shows romance brewing between Farhan and Diana Penty as she helps him create a band in jail.
Meer-E-Kaarwan is crooned by Amit Mishra and Neeti Mohan. The lyrics are penned by Adheesh Verma and the music is given by Rochak Kohli.

Lucknow Central is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and written by Aseem Arora. Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Monisha Advani, Madhu G Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the film is slated to release on September 15, 2017. It also stars Ronit Roy in a pivotal role.
Producer Nikhil Advani earlier told a leading agency, "We are extremely excited about this project as it’s a unique concept set against the backdrop of a jail and its inmates. The stellar ensemble cast adds further charm and intrigue to the film and we can’t wait to bring this captivating drama to the viewers."
