Lucknow Central: Farhan Akhtar and his jail inmates start prepping for band competition by singing Teen Kabootar

The new song from Lucknow Central, Teen Kabootar is out. The song is picturised on Farhan Akhtar, Gippy Grewal, Rajesh Kumar, Deepak Dobriyal and Inaam-ul-Haq.

In the music video, the actors who are jail inmates start prepping for the band competition they are participating in. Farhan starts singing Teen Kabootar, which depicted the inmates dancing around freely resembling birds, and it subtly hinting at the inmates' state of being imprisonment while they want to soar freely. 

The song also has Ronit Roy, who plays the role of a jailer is seen observing the band members who are gearing up for the competition.

The interesting part of the song is that it has been created with the minimalistic use of musical instruments and features mouth and body percussion besides sound from drums, plates and other objects around the jail to create the rhythm.

Teen Kabootar'is sung by Mohit Chauhan, Divya Kumar, along with the rap verses by Raftaar.

Farhan Akhtar took to Twitter to share the song saying, "#TeenKabootar ki guttar gu ho chuki hai ab shuru! @LucknowCentral"

Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, Lucknow Central is directed by Ranjit Tiwari and is slated to release on September 15, 2017.
