Munna Michael: Tiger Shroff and Niddhi Agerwal's Ding Dang is a delight for all the street style dancers
The filmmakers of Munna Michael have released the new song Ding Dang which features Tiger Shroff and Niddhi Agerwal.
Tiger Shroff and Niddhi Agerwal's Ding Dang from Munna Michael is finally out and undoubtedly, the song is a delight for all the dance lovers. Tiger has once again given all his fans one more reason to dance along with him and the track does have some hook steps.
The 2-minute long video has Tiger giving a tribute to his dad Jackie Shroff and he does manages to ace his father's dadagiri moves. From that bandana to keeping his shirt buttons open to the proper 'Gunda' swag', Tiger doesn't disappoint at all. Niddhi also tries to match up with Tiger and both are just the perfect fit.
The lyrics by Danish Sabri and director Sabbir Khan are pretty quirky. The song has been sung by Amit Mishra and Antara Mitra. Ding Dang does give the vibes of street and the tapori dance. The bandana which Tiger is seen wearing in the song has been gifted by his dad. About it Tiger had told a leading daily, “It was Sabbir sir’s idea for me to wear a bandana as he wanted a definite feel of the Mumbai street boy. Apart from Hero, there’s definitely a feel of all the iconic actors that have played Munna. The bandana I wear is part of my attire and so it’s pretty much on me throughout. As we were working on the look at home dad gave me his personal one and it looked just perfect."
He also added, "The song is a tribute to my father. There is no better way I could have done it than as Munna. Dad is my buddy, my first hero. He’s the reason I’m here. That’s why for this character, I’m trying to live his life."
The film is based on the story of Munna, a street boy from the locality Teen Batti in Mumbai, who loves dancing and grows up idolising the legendary singer-dancer, Michael Jackson. The romantic drama laced with stylised power-packed action promises to be a mass entertainer and is due to be released on 7 July 2017.
