Watch: Ranveer-Parineeti’s Fun Banter at an Awards Ceremony Is Sure to Give You BFF Goals!
Actress Parineeti Chopra made her debut in B-Town with charismatic, Ranveer Singh in 2011, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. The duo later starred in Kill Dill in 2014, and over the years has turned out to be great friends. Their fun camaraderie was a delight to watch at a recent award show’s red carpet. From Ranveer’s rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone to Parineeti’s sister Priyanka Chopra and even dancing to High Heels, the two were a house on a fire!
So, Ranveer was giving interviews to the media, when he saw Pari on the red carpet and pulled her forward to give interviews with him. So when Ranveer was asked about his meeting with the XXX director and Vin Diesel (He visited DP in Canada on Valentine's), Ranveer said, “They are very warm, kind and welcoming people.” The very minute, Pari pulled Ranveer’s leg by asking him why he did not meet her sister Priyanka, who is in Canada for the shoot of TV show Quantico. Ranveer replied, “Because she is staying in some other part of the country,” to which Parineet said, “You should have taken a flight and gone.” “She was very busy,” quipped Ranveer.
*Now that’s wise, LOL*
Parineeti also has revealed that Ranveer spotted her acting talent even before producer Aditya Chopra and director Maneesh Sharma. "Ranveer was the first person who caught me dancing on 'Sheila ki jawani' song in front of a mirror. He saw me from far and this Band Baaja Baaraat actor who had still not appeared in front of you all, told me that you are going to be an actress," Parineeti said. Adding to Parineeti's statement, Ranveer said, "See I discovered a 'heera' first".
The best part was, when supporting their friend Arjun Kapoor, who walked the red carpet wearing red heels to promote his new song High Heels, Pari-Ranveer danced on the red carpet! Oh Yes, the duo even rapped on the song and had everyone in splits at the event.
