Tale Of The Nine Tailed Ep 3 record steady rating; Lee Dong Wook jokes to ease Jo Bo Ah during their kiss

Tale of the Nine-Tailed continues to keep viewers hooked with its third episode. For the unversed, the Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah and Kim Bum starrer revolves around a male gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox) who is hiding his identity while Jo Bo Ah attempts to track him down. The third episode premiered on Wednesday and it has garnered viewership similar to the ratings of last week. Via Soompi, Neilson Korea revealed that Tale of the Nine-Tailed recorded a viewership well above 5 per cent.

Last night's episode witnessed average nationwide ratings of 5.588 per cent. Last week, the second episode witnessed a rating of 5.557 per cent. Meanwhile, Do Do Sol Sol La La So recorded 2.1 and 2.9 per cent viewership. Last week, the show recorded an average nationwide rating of 2.8 and 2.6 per cent. While it is to see which of the two shows manage to hold viewers' attention in the coming weeks, the makers of Tale of The Nine-Tailed recently revealed a BTS video.

The clip gave a better look at the on-screen couple Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah's flashback kissing scene. The scene focuses on Lee Dong Wook's past on the screen with Jo Bo Ah was his former flame. The scene sees the two characters sailing through the Sam Do River, a mythological river which dead souls to cross to reach the afterlife.

The scene was shot during a cold weather condition and it was safe to assume that it was a hard scene to shoot. However, Lee Dong Wook eased the atmosphere with the help of humour. “Do you think I did my own laundry by the waterfall when I wore white clothes?” he asked, as per Soompi. While the two stars were seated on the boat, Jo Bo Ah realises that Lee Dong Wook’s hands are cold and offers him a hot pack to help fight the dropping temperatures. When she brushes it off, the actor commented, “What do you mean, it’s nothing? My hands are so cold. It’s not nothing. You’re a liar.”

But when the cameras start to roll, the two stars dive deep into their characters and deliver a moving scene. Check out the video below:
