Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda’s lip-lock scene with Rashmika Mandanna in Dear Comrade has caught everyone's attention. The kiss has become a debate among the fans of the actors. However, this has apparently not gone well with the Arjun Reddy star. According to reports, Vijay is quite upset that how his kiss with Rashmika has been blown out of proportion. Vijay Deverakonda’s fans took to Twitter and expressed their displeasure over his kiss scene with his co-star in the teaser video.

Vijay Deverakonda was also compared with serial kisser Emraan Hashmi. "He never expected the Twitterati to go into a rant over a harmless kiss", Deccan Chronicle quoted a source close to the actor as saying. The source further adds, "Now, he is in two minds as to how to deal with the intimacy quotient in Dear Comrade because he doesn't want his leading lady to be targeted". The lip lock scene with Rashmika created a rage on social media. Many even dragged Rashmika's break up with Rakshit Shetty.

Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are teaming up for the second time in the film Dear Comrade. The two were last seen together on the big screen in the 2018 hit film Geetha Govindam. Directed by Bharat Kamma, Dear Comrade is all set for a grand release worldwide on 31st May in all South Indian languages.
