Suresh Gopi’s Paappan: RJ Shaan spills the beans about the Joshiy directorial
RJ Shann revealed during an interview that Suresh Gopi’s upcoming film Paappan with Joshiy will be a family entertainer.
Director Joshiy's upcoming crime thriller is titled Paapaan and boasts a stellar cast. Two Malayalam biggies Joshiy and Suresh Gopi are teaming up after a long time with Pappaan. The screenplay is handled by C/o Saira Banu fame RJ Shaan. Paapaan has Nyla Usha, Gokul Suresh Gopi, Sunny Wayne, and Neeta Pillai in crucial roles and features Kaniha, Asha Sharath, Chandunath, Vijayaraghavan, Tini Tom, and Shammi Thilakan among others in the key roles.
RJ Shaan has revealed that the film is expected to go on floors by march. He said during an interview that the film will have Kerala as the location, but they are yet to zero down on the spot. He was quoted as saying by The Times Of India, "It will have Kerala as the location, but we haven’t finalised any spots yet, and are still looking out for them. Pappaan is a family-based movie, and at the moment I can’t reveal much about its genre as there is some suspense, mystery elements involved with it. Regardless, it is a simple film."
Pappaan is said to be bankrolled by David Kachappilly Productions. Shyam Sasidharan has been roped in as editor while Vishnu Govind and Sreesankar will design the sound. The film has music scored by Jakes Bejoy and Ajay David Kachappally as DOP. In the series of upcoming Mollywood films, Pappaan is undoubtedly yet another addition to the most awaited ones.
