Samantha Akkineni replies to a fan’s tweet who asks her to retire from the acting industry for he feels she can never do better than what she has done in her latest film Super Deluxe. Read on.
Samantha Akkineni has been receiving a lot of praises for her recently released Tamil film Super Deluxe. The film has been directed and co-written by Thiagarajan Kumararaja who has made films like Yennai Arindhaal before. Super Deluxe, which is a thriller drama film, has been attracting positive reviews from the audiences. Along with Samantha Akkineni, the film also stars actors like Mysskin, Vijay Sethupathi, Ramya Krishnan and Fahaad Faasil.
On Saturday, a fan raved about Samantha's performance in her film Super Deluxe and said that she should probably retire from the acting industry as she has reached the top of her acting game with this film. He wrote as, “Hi Samanthaprabhu2 - U can retire if u want from acting. You have reached your performance peak through #SuperDeluxe and it will be with you for a life time !!” To the fans comment, Samantha was left perplexed as she didn't know if it was a compliment or an insult and she laughed it off. She replied as, “Ha ha ... I don’t know if that’s a compliment or an insult.”
When Samantha spoke to the Telugu media, she revealed that she wants to foray into other types of films than just commercial films. She said, “At least now, I don't want to rush and do 4-5 films a year. Now I will choose stories wisely as my judgemental skills are improved a bit”. After the success of Super Deluxe, Samantha will be seen in the next film titled as Oh Baby, which will hit the cinemas soon.
