RRR: Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s action packed introductory scene to be shot at a massive budget?

Baahubali director S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming film RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles, is one of the much-anticipated films of the year. The magnum opus is based on freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama and Komaram Bheem. The makers of RRR made a huge announcement about the film earlier this year along with the first logo look. RRR also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles and moviegoers are eagerly looking forward to SS Rajamouli’s next magnum opus.

Meanwhile, the buzz is Jr NTR and Ram Charan’s action-packed introductory scene will be shot on a massive budget. Reportedly, Ram Charan’s opening scene has been shot already and the makers will soon film Jr NTR's scene in a few weeks. TOI quoted a source saying, “while that of Ram Charan’s opening act was allotted a budget of Rs 15 crore, for Jr NTR, the team has gone up to Rs 25 crore, which is more than the overall budget of many small films."

Meanwhile, Alia is all set to kick-start the shoot of the film with Ram Charan in Ahmedabad and Pune. Alia’s entry in the film is said to be a turning point. However, nothing about her role has been revealed yet. RRR is being made on a huge budget and is set in the 1900s. The film is slated to release on July 30, 2020.
