After Super Deluxe, Samantha Akkineni has geared up for her next film Majili opposite Naga Chaitanya. From the teaser to songs, Majili has created a frenzy among the audiences. The film is just two days away from the release and the excitement among the moviegoers is quite high. Majili is Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's first film after marriage and this is one of the main reasons why fans of the couple can't wait to catch their sizzling chemistry on-screen. Touted to be a romantic tale, the movie is directed by Shiva Nirvana. According to reports, Majili has got a good response in its pre-release business.
According to reports, Majili has fetched Rs 21.14 crores from its global theatrical rights and Rs 24 crores from its distribution. The film has covered a major part of the production cost, but all are wondering if Majili will be able to beat Samantha and Naga Chaitanya's last film Manam's record of box office collection. Manam went on to earn Rs 36.5 crores at the end of its theatrical run, excluding satellite rights. Manam is one of the biggest hit films of the couple together and so, the expectations from Majili are quite high. Will Majili be able to beat Manam's BO record? Well, we think it is highly possible and strong word of mouth will eventually give a good box office run.

The makers of the film recently released the first trailer of Majili. The film also stars Divyansha Kaushik, who is making her Telugu debut with the film. The romantic drama also stars Rao Ramesh, Atul Kulkarni and Posani Krishna Murali in supporting roles. The music of the film is composed by Gopi Sundar.
