Madhura Raja Movie Review: Mammootty starrer opens to mixed reviews; Sunny Leone's item song is a winner

Director Vysakh's film, Madhura Raja featuring Mammootty, Jai and Jagapathi Babu in the lead roles has finally hit the screens today. The Malayalam film which has been produced by Nelson Ipe under his banner Nelson Ipe Cinemas also features Sunny Leone in a special song. Well, the film couldn't create any buzz ahead of its release. Despite it, Madhura Raja has managed to pull the crowd to the cinema halls. The action drama has opened to mixed reviews. While many are loving the electrifying atmosphere in the film, the storyline has failed to win the hearts of the audiences. 

One of the twitter users writes, "Just finished watching #madhuraraja, the atmosphere was electric... it's a mass masala movie, don't expect anything special like pokiriraja it's just an average story, fights are average even though Mammutty tried well, peterhein used the same fight sequences from Pulimurugan." Nevertheless, the second half of the film is the much-awaited part as it features Sunny Leone in an item number. The song is quite a winner, according to the buzz on social media.

Madhura Raja Can be considered a good mass Flick

#MadhuraRaja Cliched-predictable storyline, hit n miss comedies, Excellent visuals and pretty good bgm in most of the sequences. @SunnyLeone set the screens on fire with her heavy dance number. Item dance was worth all the hype.

The story of Madhura Raja revolves around an illegal hooch baron's reign of terror that troubles an entire village. The villagers rush to the only man for the help that is Raja played by Mammootty.
