Maaran: Dhanush, Malavika Mohanan promise magical chemistry in Valentine's Day special poster

On Valentine's Day, the makers of Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan starrer Maaran unveiled a poster that looks every bit magical. One can see, Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan make for a sizzling onscreen pair and moviegoers cannot wait to know what's in store for them.

The makers of the action thriller film Maaran have decided to skip theatrical release and will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar. Music director GV Prakash has been roped in for the film's music. The opening song of the film is going to be a special one as has been sung by Dhanush himself. He has teamed with 'Enjoy Enjaami' fame Arivu for the rap portions. Earlier, GV Prakash posted, "#maaran opening song work ... mix and matering on progress... Sung by @dhanushkraja rapped by @therukural written by vivek ..." (sic).

Produced by Sathya Jyothi films, Maaran is said to be an investigative thriller.  The music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography handled by Vivekanand Santhosham and editing handled by Prasanna G. K. 

On the personal front, Dhanush hit the headlines recently as he parted ways with wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth after 18 years of marriage. They shared an official statement on the same and asked everyone to respect their decision and privacy.
