Kalki Movie Review: Dr Rajasekhar, Adah Sharma starrer opens to positive response

Dr Rajasekhar’s much talked about film, Kalki has finally hit the screens today. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the Telugu movie also stars Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha, Poojitha Ponnada and Rahul Ramakrishna. The investigative thriller inspired by true events has opened to a positive response. A certain section of the audience is impressed with the gripping storyline. One of the Twitter users wrote, "#Kalki is one of the best Telugu movies of 2019. Gripping story, excellent BGM and cinematography. TFI is really breaking barriers in terms of content and technical execution." 

Ahead of the release, Kalki had landed in trouble after charges of copyright violation. Writer Karthikeya aka Prasad had claimed that the story of Kalki is his and has been used without his knowledge. The writer realized only after the film's first teaser was released. The makers of Kalki resolved the issue. Well, the first reviews of the film are out and looks like a major section of the audience is impressed. #Kalki trailer is expectation but the movie turned out to be a reality. 1st half went bad and second half was ok and last 15 minutes is good. Screenplay is messed up. Below average film.

I watched the Kalki movie just now. Movie went with suspense, comedy. Overall movie is very good. Must watch movie. It will be block buster movie to Rajasekhar sir like అంకుశం.

Shravan Bharadwaj has scored the music for the film produced by C Kalyan. Rajasekhar, who was last seen in PSV Garudavega, is seen in a complete new avatar for his character in Kalki.
