IPL 2019: Telugu TV actor Prashanthi and five others booked for creating nuisance during the SRH & KKR match
Telugu TV actor Prashanthi was recently at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad during the Sun Risers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders match. However, the actress and five people along with her reportedly created a nuisance during the match.
The craze around IPL 2019 is insane with thousands of people visiting stadiums in different cities of India to watch matches and experience them. Telugu TV actor Prashanthi was recently at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad during the Sun Risers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders. However, the actress and five people along with her reportedly created a nuisance and obstructed a person from watching IPL match. The Rachakonda Commissionerate Uppal Police on Sunday registered a case against these six people including Telugu TV actress.
According to reports, a complaint has been filed by Santosh Upadhyay (41) stating six people consumed alcohol at the stadium's Corporate Box Number S 22 and created a ruckus while watching the IPL match throughout the time. He was also threatened and abused during the match. "We have registered a case under section 341, 188 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and further investigation in the matter is underway," the police said to ANI. The video of the same has gone viral on social media and the police are investigating the matter.
ANI tweeted, "Hyderabad: 6 persons including Telugu TV actor Prashanthi booked for creating nuisance & obstructing a person from watching IPL match at Uppal stadium. The complainant said accused didn't allow him to watch match & also abused & threatened him with dire consequences. Probe underway."
