Dhanush, Mohanlal unveil the trailer of Ashok Selvan, Nithya Menen & Ritu Varma's’ Theeni; Watch

The much-awaited South film Theeni is all set to be released and the trailer of the film has been revealed by the biggies of the South entertainment industry including Dhanush, Mohanlal, and Sai Dharam Tej in the languages Tamil and Telugu. After the release of the trailer, fans are expressing how excited they are to watch the film, which is getting a direct release on OTT platform. Presented by Bapineedu B, the movie is written and directed by Ani IV Sasi.

The movie narrates the story of Dev (Ashok Selvan), who is overweight and a marvelous chef, suffering from muscle spasms and insomnia. He happens to join a 5-star restaurant in London where he meets Tara (Ritu Varma) and Maya (Nithya Menen). It has been revealed along with the trailer that the film will be released on February 26. Sharing the trailer, Dhanush, Mohanlal and Sai Dharam Tej wished the team success.

Talking about the film, the makers have said that Tara will be seen as someone suffering from OCD, who is the absolute opposite of Dev, while Maya, on the other hand, is a bubbly, chirpy girl with childish antics. Together, they enable him to see what is beyond, thereby taking us on a journey of what is a rather interesting romantic comedy. With interesting characters, a city abroad, and Christmas, the movie promises to be a feel-good watch.
