Bigg Boss Kannada 8: Grand premiere date, timings, contestant details and everything you need to know
The eighth edition of the reality show, Bigg Boss Kannada kickstarts from today, i.e. on February 28, 2021, at 6 PM.
One of the much-anticipated TV reality shows, Bigg Boss Kannada returns with season 8 and viewers can't keep calm to know what's in store for them. Kiccha Sudeep is all set to return yet again as a host and a few promos of the new season have already set high expectations. Well, well, the much-awaited day has arrived! The eighth edition of the reality show kickstarts from today, on February 28, 2021 (Sunday) at 6 pm. The main episodes will begin from March 1 and will be airing daily at 9:30 PM on Colors Kannada channel.
Before contestants enter the lavish glass-walled house, they had been quarantined for two weeks already. They have all been subjected to RT-PCR tests twice already. Another round of test has also been done before the contestants enter inside Bigg Boss house. This season there will be only 17 celebrities who will enter the house today and will be locked up for 100 days.
Sharing about his experience of prediction about the contestants and eviction during the process of hosting the reality show, Sudeep during the press con said, "I have seen people’s opinion changing (about contestants) in a day or two. I have seen contestants who had ruined their good reputation with a few missteps. And I have seen unpopular contestants gain a lot of popularity over time. Things happen that you can never predict. Actually, had ‘Huccha’ Venkat not engaged in violence, he had a solid chance of winning that season. He was getting so much of a vote. People liked him. I feel bad for him."
For the first time, the fans will get an opportunity to watch Bigg Boss Live for 24 hours from Monday to Friday on the channel’s OTT platform, Voot. "We have already done it in Hindi. And the same team is helping us with the Kannada Bigg Boss and we are confident that we will pull this off," Paran, the channel head revealed.
