Shah Rukh Khan arrives at Zoya Akhtar’s residence to attend a bash, view PICS

After wrapping up the shoot of Gully Boy, Zoya Akhtar today hosted a bash at her residence. Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and Alia Bhatt were clicked by the shutterbugs as they arrived for the bash.

Shah Rukh Khan also made a stylish entry as he arrived at Zoya's house for the party. He kept it cool and casual in a navy blue tee and denim. He was all smiles and even waved out to the paparazzi.

Shah Rukh is currently busy with the shoot of Zero which also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. He recently shot for a catchy dance number for the movie with Katrina in the city. 

A source was quoted by DNA as saying, “A special sari look for Katrina was designed for this song. In the film, she plays an actress who is dealing with life, post a terrible break-up and becomes a chronic alcoholic, whereas Shah Rukh plays a midget who is besotted by her.” 

Post wrapping up the shoot of Zero, SRK will reportedly start prepping for Salute from May onwards. A source had earlier informed DNA, "SRK will wrap Zero by April end, after which he will be busy for the next three months prepping up for his character in Salute. He will be doing his own research with his team and studying the nuances to play the astronaut. That’s why he’s taken a three-month break in between to devote himself fully to the biopic."

Talking about SRK replacing Aamir in the film, a source had earlier said, "Aamir strongly recommended the Rakesh Sharma biopic to Shah Rukh as a script worth walking that extra mile for. More so, since Aamir intends to devote a substantial period of his time to a very dear project of his, presumably the Mahabharat, and has stopped accepting any other assignments currently."
