Rekha, Rajkummar Rao and other celebs make a stylish appearance at an awards show

Rajkummar Rao, Rekha, Raveena Tandon, Bhumi Pednekar, Shilpa Shetty, Nushrat Bharucha, Diana Penty and many other celebs were clicked by the shutterbugs at an awards show in the city. 

Rajkummar looked handsome in a checkered suit which he teamed with formal shoes. The actor was accompanied by girlfriend Patralekhaa. She looked drop dead gorgeous in a multi-colored floral outfit and completed her look by statement earrings.

Raveena Tandon and Rekha were seen bonding and greeting each other at the event. The two even posed for the cameras. Raveena looked stunning in a black gown. Red lipstick and beautiful earrings accentuated her look. She was bestowed with the 'Women of Substance' award this year. Rekha, on the other hand, donned a golden saree. She rounded her look with exquisite jewelry. 

Bhumi and Shilpa made heads turn with their stylish appearances. While Bhumi opted for an off-shoulder gown, Shilpa wore a beautiful saree which she teamed with statement earrings. Diana looked incredibly beautiful in a shimmery gown.

Rajkummar is currently busy promoting his next film with Hansal Mehta, Omerta. In the film, Rajkummar Rao plays Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a terrorist.

Talking about the film, he recently said, ''It’s a dark world. I had no idea about this guy. Where he came from, what he did. The process started by reading the script and reading about his life on the internet. Then I started growing my beard and building muscle because Omar was a strong guy. I was in London for almost three weeks. I learnt the language and tried to understand the culture because this character comes from London. I read a couple of books and interviews on terrorism.''

Bhumi recently wrapped up the shooting of Son Chiriya. The film also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Manoj Bajpayee and is directed by Abhishek Chaubey. In the movie, Bhumi plays the role of a woman from the 1970s Chambal valley.
