Rani Mukerji has been in headlines for her remarks on the #MeToo movement. She was heavily criticised on social media for it. Today, the actor was clicked at the Mumbai airport. She was all smiles for the shutterbugs. She kept her look pretty casual. She was seen wearing a white bomber jacket with a white printed Tee and black jeggings. She paired her look with red shoes, rep lip shared and kept her hair open. She kept her makeup minimal and also was seen carrying a sling bag with her.
Rani recently announced her next project, the sequel of her film, Mardaani. Rani made her comeback after the birth of daughter Adira in Siddharth Malhotra’s Hichki that released last year. The film did great business not only in India but also in China. To announce her next film, Rani had released a statement that read that Mardaani is close to her heart and shared that she will start work on Mardaani 2 soon. The film will be directed by Gopi Puthran, who had written Mardaani. The film will reportedly on floors this month and will release in the latter half of 2019.

In an interview, Rani shared that after the success of Hichki, she realized that the audience is eager to see her in more projects on the big screen. She said that she is happy that it doesn’t matter to the audience if an actress is married or a mother.
Hichki shows Rani in the role of Naina Mathur, a teacher who suffers from Tourette Syndrome. Rani’s comeback film became a massive hit and the cinephiles were elated to watch their favourite actor after a very long time.
