Deepika Padukone hung out with many celebrities from the world of Hollywood, Fashion and Music at Met Gala 2018. Supermodel Karlie Kloss took to Instagram to share a throwback selfie with Deepika and was all praises for the actress.
On what was the biggest fashion night of this year, Met Gala 2018 saw celebrities from the world of Hollywood, Fashion and Music come together and present what has been the boldest and controversial theme in the gala's history - Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.
From back home, it was Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone who slayed on the red carpet and had tongues wagging regarding their fashion choices.
Deepika, in paticular, looked gorgeous in an Atelier Prabal Gurung cardinal silk crepe strapless gown with hand-draped silk gazar sculptural shoulder bloom and side draped chapel train with Tasaki Atelier jewellery.
The actress was seen hanging out with the likes of Hailee Steinfeld and Diane Kruger and it was her meeting with Karlie Kloss, which left an impression on the supermodel.
Karlie took to Instagram to share a throwback selfie with Deepika where both the beauty queens are seen flaunting their smiles and red lips with finesse.
So much love for this lady @deepikapadukone
Karlie's caption reads as, "So much love for this lady @deepikapadukone."
Karlie even commented on a fan's comment stating, "She's a queen," in regards to Deepika. The photo was even liked by Shawn Mendes
Stunners, indeed!
Interestingly, Karlie also spent quality time with Priyanka as the duo shared bathroom selfies with Tiffany Haddish.
Meanwhile, Deepika’s Met Gala 2017 look last year raised some eyebrows as many fashion critics felt that her look wasn’t right for the event. When Deepika was asked about it at an event, the actor had said, "I think it’s all collective effort, it’s a teamwork. Like, how we work in films as a team, it’s the same. Sometimes you might like what I wear and sometimes you might not like what I wear. And that’s totally OK. I am not dressing for you my love, I am dressing for myself. So, as long as I am having fun nothing else matters."
