Arjun Kapoor visits Sonam Kapoor's residence; Alia Bhatt promotes Raazi in the city

Sonam Kapoor is all set to tie the knot with beau Anand Ahuja in an intimate ceremony on May 8, 2018. Preparations are on in full swing and Sonam’s cousins have already started rehearsing for the sangeet celebrations.

Today, Arjun Kapoor was spotted outside Sonam Kapoor's house. He will be putting up a special performance at the sangeet. The actor looked handsome in a black shirt and denim and even posed for the shutterbugs present there.

Talking about Sonam, Arjun had told NDTV, ''Well she is my favourite cousin, but is an extremely possessive sister and is like those big brothers, who sit and cross-examine the potential spouse of a sibling. Sonam would start off with 'Do you know what he likes? What do you know about him?' Sonam is a tough one to please but I know she is genuine and will say it the way it is.''

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will be next seen in Vipul Shah's Namaste England which also stars Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. 

Alia Bhatt was today clicked promoting her upcoming film, Raazi on a show. She was seen posing with cricketers Brett Lee and Irrfan Pathan. Alia looked beautiful in a blue outfit. She kept her hair loose and completed her look with dewy makeup.

During an interview with Filmfare, Alia revealed that it was emotionally exhausting shooting for Raazi. She said, ''It was exhausting. But that's also why I chose it. There were days when I'd be thinking, 'Oh my god! Aj yeh scenes hai'! I had to build up strength and emotion. That feeling is scary. But it's also addictive. When you move past that feeling, you give your best. Whether it was during Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi or Raazi. Coming back to the earlier question, I don't know if I identified with the girl. She's an extremely brave girl. I'm not saying I'm not brave. But I'm not that brave. I can't just drop everything.''

The movie also stars Vicky Kaushal and is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
