Alia Bhatt shares an adorable picture with her Dear Zindagi director Gauri Shinde

Alia Bhatt starrer Dear Zindagi is one of the most loved slice of the life films of Bollywood. Directed by Gauri Shinde, the film had received a good critical as well as commercial response last year. The film also starred Shah Rukh Khan in a pivotal role.

Today, the Udta Punjab actress shared a cute picture with Gauri on her Instagram. The duo is working together again, well, not for a film but for an ad. 

Bhatt captioned the picture, 'Ad shoots with my “ Dear Zindagi “'.

In this pic, both Alia and Gauri are looking at each other and happily pouting.

Gauri had said about Alia, "Alia is a very intelligent actor, she is instinctive. I also work on instincts so we connected well. We did not discuss much theory. She is so intelligent, you don't have to say things again to her. It was easy working with her on this film."

Recently, Alia wrapped the shoot of the film Raazi that also stars Vicky Kaushal. Directed by Meghna Gulzar it is based on the book Calling Sehmat by Harinder Sikka. Raazi is about a Kashmiri girl who is an Indian spy and is married to a Pakistani army official.

About her role in Raazi, Bhatt had stated, "I'm going through one of the most extensive preparations for this film. The last time I did something like this, was for Udta Punjab. But that also was only with the dialect. Raazi is about dialect, body language and things like driving a big heavy jeep... Shifting those gears is a different ball game for me altogether. I am learning Urdu so it's also going to help me in the longer run. I'm playing with the language for over a month now and every day, I am sitting with it for hours. I know most of my dialogues by heart right now because I have been reading them over and over again. I am having a lot of fun with it."

She has also started prepping for her two upcoming films - Gully Boy and Brahmastra. Gully Boy is being directed by Zoya Akhtar. The gorgeous actress will work with Ranveer Singh in Gully Boy. 

On the other hand, Brahmastra stars Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor and it is helmed by Ayan Mukherji. The movie is a trilogy of a fantasy adventure series.
